Responsible Manufacturing

We skip intermediaries and work directly with our goldsmith partners to offer you the best quality at the best price.

At the same time, we place great emphasis on sustainability, fairness, and transparency. Therefore, we only collaborate with suppliers who can guarantee conflict-free and ethical resources.

In our search for suitable partners, we have also focused on regions where tradition and important know-how for jewellery craftsmanship are deeply ingrained. We found what we were looking for in Italy and Thailand.

Italy: The Hub of Chain Production

Italy has been a centre for jewellery production for centuries. Over the years, this has led to a specialisation in chain manufacturing, which requires special processing techniques and precision.

Our partner has been specialising in this product for over 20 years. A family-owned business that passes down valuable craftsmanship and knowledge from generation to generation, constantly evolving its artisanal skill to incorporate the latest technologies and produce chains of the highest quality.

Craftsmanship in Thailand

In Thailand, we mainly craft our rings and earrings. However, the perception that Asia equals mass production and poor working conditions is far from the truth. Our jewellery pieces are created individually, with meticulous attention to detail and by skilled hands. Quality is our priority over quantity. Thailand is a unique production hub, rooted in centuries of artisanal tradition. It hosts experts who prioritise social responsibility, sustainability, and the environment, just like us.

To ensure this, our partner is both an audited member of the amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) and a certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

The amfori BSCI is a leading business initiative aimed at improving working conditions in global supply chains, providing a code of conduct for social responsibility and sustainability. For more information, visit the amfori Website.

The RJC is one of the jewellery industry's key organisations, setting responsible sustainability standards and obligating its members to adhere to stringent guidelines. These guidelines encompass all social, ethical, human rights, and environmental practices, striving for increased transparency, security, and trust for all parties involved. Learn more about the organisation on the RJC Website.

Our partner workshop has been producing high-quality gold jewellery for over three decades. It's crucial for us to know the people who create our jewellery. Therefore, we visit them on a regular basis to firsthand experience the working methods and conditions, the manufacturing processes, and the product quality. On-site, you can truly sense the passion for jewellery craftsmanship.

Sustainable Supply Chain

For utmost transparency, we maintain an ongoing dialogue with our partners, collaborating to produce products that consider the environment, workers, and customers. Crafting jewellery abroad and acting responsibly can indeed coexist – under fair conditions, using high-quality and recycled materials.
